In order to develop this project further and to ensure its viability in the future we require major sponsorship of around £15000 per annum. This will enable us to extend the range of activities we offer and to ensure that funding is available to assist those young people who have financial difficulties, and also to increase and maintain our stock of equipment.

In addition we would like to purchase a large sailing dinghy such as the Explorer Classic (see insert) for use by visually impaired pupils both locally in Yorkshire and further afield in Scotland and the Lakes, and we also have need of a 4-wheel drive vehicle such as a Landrover. These two items would require a capital expenditure of approximately £25000.
